Things you should know about iPrimus NakedDSL: - Superfast broadband consumer grade residential internet service. Actual speeds vary and may be affected by your location and equipment, the source of your download and the level of internet traffic.
- Not available in all areas or to all customers. NakedDSL is available only to eligible iPrimus residential customers who are located in the area of an iPrimus ADSL2+ enabled exchange. iPrimus cannot at present provide this service on a Fast Transfer or to customers transferring from networks other than Telstra. If you contract with us to provide the service and subsequently relocate, we may not be able to provide you with the same offer and you may incur relocation and/or cancellation charges.
- You must have an existing active telephone service. You must not have complex services that do not allow ULL migration – i.e. SSS with another provider, or a Fax-DUET service. If your telephone service is with another provider, it will need to be transferred to iPrimus as part of the provisioning process.
- Due to technical factors, NakedDSL service connection can take up to 20 days. During this time some customers may be without a broadband connection. Those with a dialup modem can use dialup during this time. You must pay line rental on a pro rata basis and any call charges accrued until your NakedDSL service is connected at the standard rates applicable to the iPrimus Value Home Phone Plan (see http://www.iprimus.com.au/PrimusWeb/HomeSolutions/HomePhone/Plans.htm).
- Your home phone service will automatically be cancelled after the NakedDSL conversion is completed. If you cancel your phone service first, the NakedDSL conversion will fail. Once NakedDSL is connected you will not be able to maintain a home phone service and in most cases will permanently lose your phone number. You will be unable to use services and equipment which require a telephone or dial-tone to operate (i.e fax and answering machines and back-to base alarms).
- Whilst some iPrimus NakedDSL services will maintain a dial-tone with access to call 000 emergency services (provided a corded handset is connected), others will not. Priority Assistance does not apply to NakedDSL services. iPrimus NakedDSL is not a standard telephone service and therefore the Customer Service Guarantee does not apply. NakedDSL is not recommended if you/another resident have a disability, serious illness or other life threatening condition necessitating an uninterrupted phone line. Non 000 outgoing calls are not able to be made and no incoming calls will be available unless you connect a VoIP service.
- No excess data charge - speed will be limited to dialup speed for the balance of a billing cycle in which either the peak or off peak data allowance is exceeded. Peak period is noon to midnight and off peak is midnight to noon. Data allowance includes uploads and downloads.
- You can "Top Up" your data allowance in any month. Cost and terms see: http://iprimus.com.au/PrimusWeb/HomeSolutions/AdditionalServices/Broadband+TopUps.htm.
- You need an iPrimus approved ADSL2+ capable modem. A $9.95 modem delivery fee applies if you order a modem from us.
- Direct Debit: A $2.50 administration fee applies to accounts not paid by direct debit. New iPrimus customers must pay by Direct Debit.
- Internet customers paying by direct debit will receive bills online through their iPrimus Account Toolbox. Internet customers paying by direct debit who request a paper bill by mail will be charged $2.50 per bill.
- As part of your plan you can obtain up to 5 iPrimus email addresses. Each mailbox is 10MB in size and you can send individual emails of up to 2MB per email.
- You have the flexibility to move between iPrimus NakedDSL plans without a plan change fee. A $50 Internal Churn Fee may apply to existing iPrimus broadband customers who move to NakedDSL and vice-versa.
- It is your responsibility to check the terms of any existing contract you may have with another supplier. If you are transferring a service to iPrimus, there may be consequences under an existing contract.
- iPrimus Standard Form of Agreement applies (see http://www.iprimus.com.au/PrimusWeb/_agreement.htm).
- Minimum total cost over 24 months calculated as: 24 x $(NakedDSL monthly access fee). Modem + P&H (if required) and VoIP service extra. Early termination fees apply.

Things you should know about iPrimus VoIP: - ^ Included calls are for normal personal domestic use only and subject to our right to prevent excessive use. If the number (or duration as applicable) of any type of included calls made by customer is more than 3 times the iPrimus customer average (or if usage is such as to affect the Primus network or other users) iPrimus may regard usage as being other than for normal personal domestic use and we may on notice suspend the service.
- VoIP is internet telephony. The availability and quality of the service may differ from a standard telephone. iPrimus has two types of VoIP plans available: Lingo and NakedVoIP. You cannot at present port your fixed line phone number to iPrimus VoIP and it is not suitable for non-voice applications such as fax machines and security monitoring devices.
- iPrimus VoIP is a low cost service, so iPrimus only offers it to customers who agree to waive all rights under the normal Customer Service Guarantee for this service. More information about iPrimus VoIP services and the Customer Service Guarantee is available here. You agree to waive those rights.
- You must maintain a broadband connection of at least 512/128k speed and a power supply. To access iPrimus VoIP you will also need to obtain a Lingo phone adapter (ATA) or VoIP enabled wireless Modem from us (which will come pre-configured for iPrimus VoIP) and have a telephone handset to plug into the ATA/VoIP enabled modem. Wireless and satellite internet connections are not appropriate for use with VoIP.
- iPrimus VoIP can ordinarily be used to call the emergency number 000, however you should not regard any VoIP service as a reliable service in an emergency. Priority Assistance does not apply to iPrimus VoIP services. VoIP services are not recommended if you/another resident have a disability, serious illness or other life threatening condition necessitating an uninterrupted phone line. We highly recommend that you ensure you have access to another fixed phone or mobile service for use in emergencies and in case of a power failure, or if your broadband connection is temporarily unavailable or speed-throttled / shaped.
- iPrimus VoIP calls do not count towards your broadband data allowance when combined with an iPrimus broadband service.
- You can make and receive calls while surfing the web, however the VoIP service may be impaired if you do so, depending on the type of surfing or downloading, and your broadband connection speed.
- If your iPrimus VoIP plan comes with include call value, unused value expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.
- iPrimus is not liable if you lose access to or cancel the telephone service and/or the broadband connection over which iPrimus VoIP is supplied.
- You are not permitted to relocate this service without our consent.
- Direct Debit: A $2.50 administration fee applies to accounts not paid by direct debit. New iPrimus customers must pay by Direct Debit.
- Minimum total cost (Lingo 12 Starter for example) 12 x $9.95 + $9.95 (ATA delivery) = $129.35 + calls. Early termination fees apply.
- iPrimus Standard Form of Agreement applies (see http://www.iprimus.com.au/PrimusWeb/_agreement.htm).
