If you combine broadband with an iPrimus home phone plan and cancel or transfer either the telephone or internet component, iPrimus may suspend or terminate both services and you may be required to pay early termination fees and need to recontract for a standalone service.

12. As part of your plan you can obtain up to 5 iPrimus email addresses. Each mailbox is 10MB in size and you can send individual emails of up to 2MB per email.
13. You have the flexibility to move between iPrimus ADSL2+ plans without a plan change fee. If you are an existing iPrimus broadband customer, you can upgrade to iPrimus ADSL2+ for a 12 or 24 month term, without incurring additional set up fees.
14. It is your responsibility to check the terms of any existing contract you may have with another supplier. If you are transferring a service to iPrimus, there may be consequences under an existing contract.

Broadband Speeds

The Broadband speed you will receive depends on the service qualification of your telephone line, and we will use our best endeavours to give you the highest speed available based on what is available on your telephone line. For information on why you may not be able to receive ADSL2+ or ADSL please see below.

Depending on the capabilities of your line and telephone exchange, you will receive the higher of either:

• Up to ADSL2+* (Open2)
• Up to 8000kbps ADSL1^ (Open1)
• 1500kbps ADSL1^#

High Speed ADSL2+ is enabled in over 60% of Broadband exchanges around Australia, and will be provided where your equipment and location supports the high speed. If these higher speeds are not supported or available you will have access to ADSL speeds of up to 1500kbps or up to 8000kbps. You can check online for which zone your service is located. Please note a more thorough check of your line is required, to confirm that your line can support high speeds. This can be conducted by our Sales department, or via our Online Signup.

Some services which are located in Zone 1 or the Zone 2 will not be compatible with ADSL2+ or ADSL1, due to factors including: line quality, noise and interference, RIM and Pair Gain Systems, line length or other factors.

Your speed results will be somewhere between the maximum theoretical speed of 20Mbit/s download 1Mbit/s upload, to 1.5Mbit/s download, 256kbps upload.
