Overview

The Primus Managed Firewall Service (MFS) provides secure, cost effective and high performance firewalls to connect your business to the Internet. MFS is available in two configurations:

• MFS-WAN
  A secure firewall service deployed within the Primus network to connect your Primus IP, ATM, Frame Relay or other data network to the Internet at high speed.
• MFS-ONSite
  A secure and flexible firewall solution that provides a fully managed and maintained firewall located on-site.

Each service is fully managed by Primus including all configuration, technical support and device maintenance, taking away the need for the customer to have detailed expertise in firewall configuration and management.

Primus MFS also provides remote access to customer private networks and customer LANs via secure VPN remote access services. Users connect to the firewall via IPSec secured connections across the Internet, using VPN software supplied by Primus.

• Replacement hardware is provided upon identification of equipment failure by the Primus Helpdesk
• All firewalls are supported by Primus, with 24 x 7 support available
