Primus Australia signs NBN Co Wholesale Broadband Agreement
12 January 2012 – Melbourne, Australia Primus Australia, apart of M2 Telecommunications Group Ltd (“M2” ASX: MTU) has today announced that it has signed NBN Co’s Wholesale Broadband Agreement (WBA).
The WBA sets out the terms and conditions that the NBN Co will use to govern the supply of products and services to its wholesale customers.

Primus is an established leader in high speed broadband connections and we expect to continue our leadership position as the NBN continues its rollout,” said Primus Australia CEO Tom Mazerski.
Primus will work closely with NBN Co to deliver high quality, affordable services that fulfil a broad range of customer needs including lower cost ‘fibre voice only’ services.
“We already have a voice network in place with many voice-only customers, which puts us in a leading position to ensure that under the NBN our voice customers will continue to receive the highest quality services, ” added Mazerski.
Primus Australia has one of the largest Fibre to the Home customer bases in Australia. The agreement with NBN Co is a major milestone as the company continues its move forward with its Fibre-to-the-Home products and services.
