The Australian business is part of the global Primus Telecommunications Group Inc, with operations in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Asia. We use an extensive global network of owned and leased transmission facilities and have ownership interests in around 40 undersea fibre optic cable systems, 23 international gateway switches, a satellite earth station and a variety of operating relationships that deliver traffic worldwide.

Our History

Primus Telecom was the first telecommunications carrier to be granted a license when full deregulation and competition was introduced in Australia in 1997. Prior to this, Primus operated as a service provider to business markets since 1993.
