nbn is a government entity that was established in 2009 to design, build and operate Australia’s new broadband network known as the nbn™.
The nbn™ is being rolled out across Australia and will replace your existing broadband connection.
The National Broadband Network (nbn™) is rolling out fibre-optic, fixed wireless and satellite infrastructure to replace the existing copper infrastructure with a faster and more reliable internet service.
With download speeds of up to 100 megabits per second (mbps), it’s actually four times quicker than the fastest ADSL2+ broadband currently available.
Benefits of NBN
1. Nobody misses out: With the nbn™ in place, more devices can connect at once without their speeds being affected.
2. Always On: The speed and reliability of the nbn™ provides a broadband connection that is constant with fewer disruptions. Less downtime means more time to stream, video call and download your favourite content.
3. Entertainment: Say goodbye to buffering. Stream and download as much high quality content as your devices can handle.
4. Innovation: Don’t get left behind. The nbn™ is designed to keep up with the times, be it extensive digitization, hefty file transfers or heavy downloads.

Myth: nbn™ Costs More Than ADSL
Our NBN plans are priced to align with ADSL, that means, no surprises when it’s time to make the switch. You can connect, stream, watch and download faster and more seamlessly than ever before.
Myth: Moving To The nbn™ Network Is Optional
