POP vs IMAP

We recommend setting up your mail client using POP and configuring it to remove emails from the mail server once downloaded. This is to avoid exceeding your mailbox storage limit by keeping a copy of emails on the iPrimus mail server.

  Pros Cons
POP Downloads emails to your device Once email is downloaded to one device, other devices will not get a copy
IMAP Two-way syncing between device and server, allowing multiple devices to be used Mailbox storage limit will be exceeded

Your webmail has 100MB of space. If it’s full, you’ll need to delete items in your webmail.

Please note that e-mails older than 90 days may be deleted in our servers without prior notice.

You can use an e-mail client such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail to expand the capacity and/or keep copies of your e-mails longer.

A full mailbox limits your e-mail from sending or receiving messages.
