Setup a New VoIP Connection

Before you start setting up your VoIP connection you must first confirm your VoIP service has been provisioned.

 

We will send out an SMS to your provided mobile number with confirmation.

 

If you have not received this SMS, you can still setup your service so it is ready to go when your service is provisioned.

Connecting Your Device

There are 2 ways of setting up your VoIP service depending on whether you have a 1 port modem or 4 port modem router. 

 

1 Port Modem Setup

  1. Connect a Network Cable (Ethernet) from the Internet Port to your ADSL Modem
  2. Connect a Network Cable (Ethernet) from the Ethernet Port to your PC
  3. Connect a Phone Cable from the Phone Port to your Telephone Handset
  4. Connect the Power Cable to the power plug on the back of the Lingo device and then into your wall power outlet
  5. Wait 2 minutes for the Lingo to automatically configure itself

4 Port Modem Router Setup

  1. Connect a Network Cable (Ethernet) from the Internet Port to your ADSL Modem Router
  2. Connect a Phone Cable from the Phone Port to your Telephone Handset
  3. Connect the Power Cable to the power plug on the back of the Lingo device and then into your wall power outlet
  4. Wait 2 minutes for the Lingo to automatically configure itself
