Outlook 2007 Email Configuration

To configure your computer running Microsoft Outlook, follow the step-by-step procedure below. If you experience problems with your computer while proceding through the setup instructions, please visit the Troubleshooting section of this site for more information.

  1. Open email client by clicking on the icon highlighted below.

  2. Click on Tools then Account Settings and it will proceed to the next page.

  3. Click on New and it will proceed to the next page.

  4. Make sure first option is ticked.

    Click Next at the lower right corner of the page and it will proceed to the next page.

  5. Put a Tick on Manually configure server settings or additional server types and it will proceed to the next page.

  7. Fill out all relevant information in the fields provided.

  8. You can test if the set up was successful by clicking Test Account Settings to the right.

    Confirm that the tests are completed and then click Close to return to the Internet E-Mail Settings

  9. Click on Next and it will proceed to the next page.

  10. The new account can be seen in the list of E-mail Accounts.
