The National Broadband Network or NBN, is the Australian Governments’ initiative to change the way we all connect to Broadband services and the Internet in Australia. The network aims to connect 90% of all Australian premises with fibre-based services and the remaining 10% with wireless and satellite technologies, and create a world-class Broadband network for the future of Australia.
Along with Midway Point, Scottsdale and Smithton were two additional towns in Tasmania chosen for the initial National Broadband Network roll-out. These areas have been chosen to demonstrate and test the connection of services to the Fibre network, and provide people with the fantastic new services, and we are proud and excited to provide the new services, both to our existing iPrimus customers, and new customers joining iPrimus!
