Primus E-mail Virus Protection notification explanations:


'Infected File Cleaned and Restored'
Eg. A virus was found, but the file has been cleaned and it is now ready to be opened.


'Infected File Detected and Deleted'
Eg. A virus has been found, but the file was unable to be cleaned and the file has been removed
File types - exe, password protected zip file, worm executable, unidentified virus.


'File rejected due to size limit'
Eg. The file exceeds the Primus standard file transfer limits. Our E-mail Virus Protection service is unable to scan expanded files exceeding 10MB.


'File is unreadable. Unable to process. Open with caution'
Eg. The file has been corrupted in transit and is unable to be scanned satisfactorily.
The file could be password protected or encrypted and is unable to be scanned.


'This file could not be scanned for viruses. Please use extreme caution when opening this file. Please forward this message to support@iprimus.com.au'
Eg. A message that is unable to be scanned due to an error with the message itself. In this instance we recommend that the customer forward the message to the Primus Support department (support@iprimus.com.au) to investigate the nature of the error, and where possible, how it occurred. This may assist in preventing similar occurrences.

Eg. File could not be scanned due to an unforeseen circumstance. Please forward this message to support@iprimus.com.au to assist with this issue.
