Hardware and Software
To use the Primus Hotspot Wireless service, you may require additional hardware or software; use the following checklist to ensure you have everything you need to connect to the Primus Hotspot Wireless service:
Hardware- A Laptop Computer or Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
- An 802.11b Wireless Network Card. Click here for a list of recommended wireless network cards.
Software- Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000 Professional, CE and XP.
- Internet Explorer 5.x and above. Netscape 4.7.
- Wireless Network Card Software (comes with Wireless Network Card, installed when the Wireless Network card is installed).
- VPN (Virtual Private Network) client software (If connecting to Corporate Network). (See Frequent Questions)
