Things you should know about Primus Business Ultra Plans:
1 Standard Allowance on Business Ultra 29 & 49: Includes National Calls to fixed/mobile services (excludes calls to Primus mobile services connected to the Optus mobile network), National SMS/MMS, International SMS/MMS & Voicemail Diversions/Retrievals. Use in excess of the Standard Allowance is charged at the applicable rate (see charges tables). Unused Allowance expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.

3 Calls to Primus Mobiles Allowance: Includes use for National Calls to Primus Mobile services connected to the Optus mobile network, only. Use in excess of the Calls to Primus Mobiles Allowance is charged as National Call usage. Unused Allowance expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.
4 International Calls Allowance: Includes use for International Calls, only. Use in excess of the International Calls Allowance is charged at the applicable International Call rates which can be found on our website www.primus.com.au. Excess usage charges will not be applied under the Standard or any other included Allowance value. Unused Allowance expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.
International Calls are barred upon service activation. Please contact Primus Customer Service on 1300 85 66 88 to enable user access to this service and your plan’s International Calls Allowance (if applicable).
5 Included Data Allowance: Includes use for Mobile Data. Mobile Data usage includes access to email, WAP services (e.g. Optus Zoo) and Internet browsing directly from your mobile device or by using the mobile device as a tethered modem (via infrared, Bluetooth, cable etc.).
Excludes use for Voice calls, Voicemail, International SMS, Premium and Third Party SMS, Optus Zoo and Third Party content purchases and subscription fees, VPN data usage, data used while roaming internationally and anything else not specified in the Included Data allowance. If you are able to access such services, your use of such services will be charged at the applicable rates.
When overseas, International Data Roaming usage charges apply as additional charges. Some data cards/devices are incompatible with networks in some countries. Please contact Primus for information on applicable charges and a list of countries Primus supports.
Any content downloaded from the Internet or WAP enabled websites, such as ringtones or logos, may incur additional charges from the provider of the content (which will be rebilled to you by Primus and payment of which is your responsibility).
Mobile Data transfer speeds may vary depending on the type of device, location and number of users accessing the network at any given time. Usage is counted in kilobytes and includes uploads and downloads. 1024KB = 1MB.
If you exceed your plan’s monthly Mobile Data Allowance, Mobile Data (excess usage) charges apply as per the applicable Business Ultra plan the service is connected to (see charges tables). Unused Allowance expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.
6 Social Networking Sites: Mobile Data usage will not be charged or count towards your Included Data Allowance when accessing (within Australia only) certain URLs directly attached to social networking sites specified by Primus including Facebook®, MySpace®, Twitter®, LinkedIn™, eBay® and Foursquare™. If a specified social networking site is accessed indirectly charges may apply (examples include, without limitation, use of a VPN, proxy services, certain browsers or via a third party application or URL). Standard Mobile Data charges will apply for any external links accessed via the specified sites. Charges also apply if the social networking sites are accessed via tethering.
Use of the Facebook SMS alert service or any other social media alert service are not included as part of the service and will be charged separately. Primus may withdraw or change any specified URL at any time in accordance with our Standard Form of Agreement. These features are only available to you if your handset is compatible with the service.
7 Mobile Fleet Fund: Mobile Fleet Funds (i.e. hardware/technology funds) are a once-off allowance (per service) which can be used to purchase mobile hardware from Primus at any time during the minimum contract period. Unused funds expire at the end of your minimum contract period (per service). On expiry unused funds will be forfeited. Mobile Fleet Funds are not redeemable for cash and are not available in conjunction with the provision of handsets at subsidised costs.
8 National Calls: National Direct Dialled (NDD) calls are voice calls from Primus mobile services, connected on the Optus mobile network in Australia, to a fixed line service or mobile service connected to an Australian network (excluding calls to fixed lines or mobiles provided overseas, calls to Premium Service numbers, calls to satellite phones and such other call types as Primus from time to time specifies). NDD calls are charged in 30-second blocks.
9 National SMS: National SMS are text messages to mobile and landline services within Australia. The fixed charge applies to up to 160 characters per message per recipient. Additional text will be charged at the same rate per message. SMS is charged upon origination of a message, regardless of whether delivery is successful or not.
10 International Calls: International Direct Dialled (IDD) calls are voice calls from Primus mobile services, connected on the Optus mobile network in Australia, to a fixed line service or mobile service provided outside Australia (excluding calls to Premium Services and such other call types as Primus from time to time specifies).
11 Service Provider Charges: Network carriers and the providers of the services may impose additional charges.
12 Premium Services: Content or live advice services which can be accessed via a phone call, messaging service (e.g. SMS/MMS) or mobile data connection (e.g. Mobile Data). Premium Services numbers usually start with a 188x, 19x, 190x prefix or an international access code. Examples of Premium Services include adult services, psychic lines, weather services, voting lines for TV shows, competition lines and high school test result hotlines.
Proprietary network services, such as Optus Zoo, also offer data Premium Services. Examples include news updates, sports and weather reports, ringtones and wallpaper.
Premium Services are barred upon service activation. Please contact Primus Customer Service on 1300 85 66 88 to discuss options for user access to these services.
13 Push To Talk (PTT): Daily charges apply once a broadcast has been initiated via PTT. Standard National SMS charges apply when you first register to use PTT. Primus reserves the right to set limits on the use of PTT. We currently consider that the use of PTT for more than 150 broadcast minutes, per month, per mobile service is excessive. If you are an excessive user of PTT we may suspend or cancel your access, without prior warning or substitute prevailing plan rates and recalculate charges based on 30-second blocks of usage. To use PTT you must have a PTT compatible handset with the PTT service activated with Primus.
International Roaming: Primus reserves the right to refuse the activation of International Roaming on any Primus mobile service which means you may not be able to use your mobile service to make or receive calls while you are out of Australia.
Minimum Contract Period: Business Ultra plans are only available on a minimum contract period of 24 months (per service). Early Termination Charges apply.
Early Termination Charge: If, during the minimum contract period, a mobile service is cancelled for non-payment or other default, disconnected upon customer request (if we so agree), or churned to another carrier, we will charge you a Disconnection Fee of $55 plus an Early Termination Charge (ETC). The ETC will not exceed your contracted Monthly Minimum Spend multiplied by the number of months remaining in the minimum contract period at time of disconnection.
Handsets & Minimum Term Costs: Only customers with an active Primus mobile service may purchase mobile hardware from Primus. The availability of specific make/model handsets is at the discretion of Primus.
The minimum total cost over the minimum contract period, is the Business Ultra plan’s Monthly Minimum Spend multiplied by the number of months in the contract period (e.g. ‘Business Ultra 49’ plan on a 24 month contract is $49 x 24 = $1176), plus the cost of any mobile hardware purchased from Primus over the contracted period, plus the cost of any other optional services you select (e.g. Mobile Insurance).
Mobile handsets and other hardware sold to you by Primus will be subject to the benefit of manufacturers’ warranties and to warranties compulsorily implied by law.
Plan Changes: During the minimum contract period, you are not permitted to change to a plan with a lower Monthly Minimum Spend than your original Business Ultra plan. You may change to a Business Ultra plan with a higher Monthly Minimum Spend, without incurring a plan change fee. You may also later change that mobile service back to the original Business Ultra plan, without incurring a plan change fee. Should any Business Ultra plan be withdrawn for any reason during the term of your contract, plan changes to the withdrawn plan will no longer be permitted.
If a plan is changed mid billing cycle, charges will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis, with the new Monthly Minimum Spend charged one month in advance. Please note: plan included allowances will also be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. Therefore, if usage (that is eligible for included allowance credits) exceeds the adjusted pro-rated allowance, excess usage charges will apply.
Change of Ownership: If you apply to us to transfer your contract into the name of another person or entity, we will normally consent providing that you are not in default and that the transferee is approved by us and that you each sign such documents as we require.
Direct Debit: A $2.50 administration fee may apply to accounts not paid by direct debit.
General: Primus Business Ultra plans are available to Primus Business customers with an Australian Business Number (ABN) only. To connect to these plans you must pass a Primus credit assessment and your application must be accepted by Primus. Primus reserves the right to withdraw or change any Business Ultra plan or associated Promotion at any time. Without limit, we may withdraw it from any user whom we reasonably believe is using it in a manner which we regard as unreasonable or excessive.
Access to the Optus 3G Network (also referred to as the ‘Optus mobile network’) is only available when the user is in an Optus 3G coverage area with a network compatible handset and Primus USIM card. Optus 3G coverage refers to UMTS 2100MHz/900MHz network coverage. Access to Optus 3G single band coverage (2100MHz) is possible with a 2100Mhz compatible handset. Outside 3G coverage areas, only GSM/GPRS service is available (refer to our website for coverage maps:

On your first bill, the Minimum Spend and Included Allowances for the first month will be adjusted according to how many days left in your billing cycle from the time of activation. The second month’s Minimum Spend will be charged a month in advance. Therefore, if your first month’s included usage exceeds the adjusted allowances, excess usage charges will apply.
All prices quoted (including ‘Included Allowances’) are inclusive of GST and may vary on your account as some charges are rounded to the nearest cent before GST is applied.
